Bald Eagle Trolley Tour Two tour times: First tour departs at 9:00am and returns for lunch at 11:30am. The second tour begins at 11:00am and returns at 2:30pm. Be mesmerized by the beautiful bald eagles at Starved Rock! Ride the trolley to the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center for eagle viewing and an educational program. Includes your selection from a SPECIAL LUNCH MENU during the week and Brunch on Sunday in the Main Dining Room. Dress warmly, bring binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras. Trolley Tour of the Area Board a Trolley outside of the Great Hall area of the Lodge and enjoy a historic Trolley ride with a stop at the Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center where you will see a short video of the area. Then travel to the Illinois Waterway Visitor's Center to view Starved Rock from across the river and watch the river traffic pass through the locks. The Trolley will go to the Village of Utica and hear about the Illinois and Michigan Canal. While aboard the Trolley, the driver will narrate the history and legends of the area. Canal Boat and Trolley Tour Start off with a delicious hot Lunch Buffet in the rustic dining room at Starved Rock Lodge. Next, board one of the trolleys and ride to the State Park's Visitor's Center. Your trolley will also take you on a relaxing ride to the new Canal Boat located in LaSalle. Step back in time with period-dressed interpreters on this one-hour canal boat ride.
